Hiya.. I just started shopping for a hummer (H3) and I figured I'd check out the forums to do a bit of research first. I'm new around here, but not to online forums in general... I'm also fozzy bear on: explorerforum.com pirate4x4.com jeepforum.com chargerforums.com corvetteforum.com and a few others I'm not real active on.

ORIGINAL: HummBob Sweet! I didn't have that one. Thanks for all the welcoms guys. So, I guess the first thing I need to know is about aftermarket sources... Ya see, I KNOW I'll be modding my rig, and since it seems a shame to throw away parts you paid extra for, I wanna see what's available for the H3. For example: The factory OFFROAD package has a 4:1 transfre case on it. (which is definately something I want) Is it cheaper to buy a base-model and get aftermarket gears, or is it better to buy it from the factory that way. Ditto the question for lockers, and armor. So, I need to see what's vailable and how much it costs... Where are the best sources for aftermarket parts? Just FYI... I'm not interested in show-type goodies. Just functionality stuff. (nothing against the guys that go "Bling", it's just not me. But Hummbob, I love that gif in your sig...)
