I do like that rear bumper guard, where did you find that? As for the locking fuel door I prefer the black accessories to the chrome ones for my rig, that being said I like the look of the factory locking fuel door so much that it may end up being the only piece of chrome I put on the entire truck.

i'm with you on that......i'm mixing some chrome (door handles and grille) with mostly black accessories but might do the chrome gas cover. anyway, the rear guard was at Teaka toys, but sure that G-style and others can get as well as it's made by Steelcraft.

Locking fuel door was the first extra for me. Install was a breeze. Also I have that Steelcraft rear bumper guard. Its a handy item for extra stepping area on the bumper when Im loading the top rack and has saved my rear bumper at work a couple of times.( alot of people are still asleep when they park in the morning ) Very well made and strong. Wasnt sure I would like it when I got it, but its still on there and holding up well. Always figured I could use it as a boat anchor if I didnt like it. Thumbnail Image

ORIGINAL: tmoody I like the OEM look, but it just makes me nervous to not have a locking door covering the fuel resevoir. anyone have one that can comment?? Unless you're worried about someone putting something in your tank, I wouldn't be concerned with having a lock.

StarsnBars: Dude that is a sweet looking 3. I think the GM/Hummer chrome door had a part number change and now does not have the lock. Dealers might have an old one in stock though. Mine is the new one, no lock, but I do like the chrome door over the stock hole w/ cap. tmoody: I like the rear guard, but I also saw something similar that just goes in the hitch receiver, can't remember where, and no I am not thinking of the little step/bumper guard thing.

Rear bumper guard would be a nice addition. Does it decrease departure angle or not?

check out this thread, may help you out. Lots of styles out there and different brands have different installation. http://www.hummerforums.com/m_76869/tm.htm Locking chrome fuel door, smooth w/o any extra detail like hex screws, etc. Installed by dealer
