I decided it was time to make the old 02' dodge the backup vehicle,

So i went rummaging through dealerships, and newspapers, and more dealerships until I decided just for kicks to check out craig's list. This lawyer who is apparently trying to liquidate her life and flee the country or something is having an estate sale. among the goodies listed? a lotus esprit, and my new car. I saw the price and figured it had to be wrecked or something.. so i called and she said it was in perfect shape, she just needed to sell it this weekend. so a trip to the bank, and a carfax later, I was hauling ass to her house 2 1/2 hours before I was scheduled to dj a wedding. And I bought it! not only did I end up saving $13,000.00 off of what I would have paid at the dealership, I got the absolute top of the line package, a 4 year warranty, 2 years of on star, and mean looks from every tree hugger from here to the rio grande...

her loss, my gain!

Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present my dream DJ mobile... the only car I ever lusted after, drooled over, and stared at until it left my site over the horizon...

The gas guzzling, bird killing, little kid running over, erosion causing, overstuffed, oversized, a-hole machine on wheels....

Drumroll
The Hummer H2!

So I'm really excited! it's a write off, insurance is only $9.00 more a month ($81.00) and I finally get to be the guy in the "big truck"

Finally, for once in my life I get to drive a vehicle that doesn't make sence instead of being mr. practical!

sorry but I'm so excited I just might pee my pants!

replace the 8 cyl with a 4 cyl honda engine, smaller 13" tires, and a big assed aluminum spoiler on the back!

nah, I don't know yet... probably start with some of the cosmetics, then work my way into the electronics..I'm interested in a new chip, but will read more to see if the claims of better gas mileage are substantiated...... I don't 4x4, but I love my computers, and audio, so we'll see what happens once I get a few bucks saved back up!

took it out to get it dirty this morning..... had a blast.... I didn't realize how darn powerful these trucks were... I rode the power lines along peachtree industrial blvd... it's kinda like a mini moab. lots of shelf rock, red clay, little streams and big boulders to drive up... That's where everyone around here goes to offroad, so I went to try it out...

I had a blast, scared myself once driving up the rock, but all in all, had a blast.

only crappy thing is how long it takes to wash and detail this beast! It took me almost 2 hours to get it completely clean...
