Hello, new to forum. I'm active duty military and as much time as I spend in H1's I've decided I want a preowned H2. I've just started researching the vehicle and was thinking of a 2003-2005. Any thing I should be aware of( ie recalls, defects)? Thanks again.

Hi AIRBORN, I own a 2004 H2 from New, the only recalls that I know of were the Cables that attach the hood to the front assby area, they had rubber covers on them and making the cables rot out.........had a recall for the rear seatbelts..(Child Restrants).........other than that some Minor problems, were quickly fixed by the dealer............ If I were to buy a used HUMMER, H2 I would be looking for one that has been serviced at the Dealership, with records to show how and when it was serviced...........I only go to the dealer for Service with both of ours, H2/H3.........Mabey theres one with an Extend warrenty (transferable) from Hummer, we have the 100,000 mile or 10 years warrentys on ours.......... Or if you really liked an H2, I would have a past-check ran on it before i would buy it..........You Never Know, How it was treated.......and what Might be In-store for you........ What ever you choice might be, there's Nothing like Owning a HUMMER Have a Great Day...........RickLF
