Brandon07 -> DLR cicling (7/27/2007 6:28:12 AM)

[8|] Hi  forum member firs of all. I will like to thank everibody for the information, in the last couple of days in ref to the H3. I have another question wich  i looked thru the search feature but i was not able to get. so here it goes. Do the head ligths suposto be on when driving during the day, my understanding was that the amber side ligths were the ones on when the dlr is cicling. Is this a problem with the 2007 H3. Thanks in advance.

06 runs the amber turn lights.....07 runs the headlights, unless your Canadian, and I forget whats up with theirs.  Turn the auto switch to off every time you start it if you want the lights out in the 07

My '07 runs with the headlight at low voltage so they are somewhat dim during the day.  I also replaced my amber DRL lens with clear ones.

not correct docolds....changing from the amber to the headlight drls was a mid 06 change...only early 06's have amber drls. My mid year 06 has headlight drls.

Thank you IK.  The chick down the street from me with the green 06 H3 and I were chatting[;)], and I made an assumption that it was a model year change.  D Vader I like the LOOK.  Black Grill and chrome guard.  SWEET.

Well chew on this.  My 2007 H3 had amber DRLs.  I removed them for clear ones.  Here's both the clear and the amber from an '07.

vader..those are your corner lenses...shouldn't light up as drls....as you mentioned earlier, you have headlight drls.

olds...I agree... I HATE THE WHOLE DRL THING...Now we're too damn dumb to see cars in the daylight that don't have headlights on?!?!? Friggen ridiculous IMO.

I have my headlights on.  The DRLs come on with them.  When I turn on my fogs my off road-lights come on with them.  The DRL bulbs have two filiments.  One is for the turn signals.

I pulled the DLR fuse and now I have a spare fuse in my glove box.  The DLR circuit is clearly marked on the fuse panel lid.  I believe it's #39.
