UNLESS YOU BANDSWAW THE TUBE and use the stock box and a factory replacement K&N filter. (Gee, wonder who did that?) If you use any CAI system that uses the stock breather box (or one like it) it isn't very loud at all. The loud ones are the ones that replace the breather box and use the air dam instead. The resonator box on the stock motor doesn't seem to quiet down my intake sounds any more than using the K&N tube. The noise seems to be with the airdam designs that replace the closed breather box.
