And I took 883 pictures...  ( maybe I'll post some once I've had a chance to resize some of them, the folder for them alone is over 1.5 gigs)

I don't even know how many hours of video I have. But I would guess that the 40 gig hard drive on my handycam is about 2/3 full.

We went to Florida to visit some friends, spent some time on the beach there in Ft. Walton beach, and then on to Disney World. 6 days there, and then we went up to St. Augustine and checked out the light house.. and had scheduled an air boat ride in Mobile for the way back, but the weather caused the owner to not run the boat that day. So, insted we took the girls to a swamp tour in Slidell, La. that my wife and I went on in 94. All in all we had a great time. We were gone for close to two weeks. Probably around 2600 plus round trip miles in the H3. The H3 did awsome for the entire trip.. without one instance of trouble. It purred like a kitten the whole way.. and got great mileage to boot, despite being loaded to the gills. It did everything without much effort. The nav system came in really handy as well.

Even though it was fun, I'm glad to be home. I must be getting older cause normally I don't mind long road trips.. but on the way back home I was really wishing that we would have flown... lol. All in all, though.. we had a blast. The girls really enjoyed Dsiney and meeting the characters etc. So, it was worth the long drive. And, it was the first visit for all of us.

Now I think I'll go back to vegatating before I have to be back at work tomorrow.

2600 miles? That's baby steps   Try 5300 miles in 11 days and see how ya feel then

Anyway, It sounds like you had fun.

It's a shame that

Import, I agree.. I think the lack of foot room around the pedals is the problem for me. It doesn't seem to allow you the options of several positions like my full size truck does. Then you end up in relatively an overall position.. hence the pain in the arse. At one point I had the cruise on.. and both feet planted on the floor between the seat and peddles, sitting sort of slouched back in the seat... which made me look like a dad driving some kids go cart.. I think my knees were about half way up the steering wheel... LOL. But it was a new position.. and comfy for a while.

Anyway.. here are a few random pics.. not too many since I don't have high speed in my area.. and I'm confined to a slower wireless (but it's better than dial up). OK, either it doesn't want to take them.. or it's going too slow.. so I'm just going to try one pic... or making them much smaller. OK.. seems to work better one at a time. Spoke too soon.. but got a couple up. I'm done.. I'm still on vacation..

We actually have ownership in the Disney Vacation Club which works quite well for us.  We typically go down for the Wine and Food Tasting Festival at Epcot.

Here is an amusing photo of Disney.  I guess the heat can affect anyone <g>
