Afterward for some reason, the driver's seat would not move back to its original position? It was all I could do, to get between the steering wheel and the seat back, to drive home! [kids do not attempt this at home; professional driver, closed course] So here's my question, is it possible for a fuse to partially (or intermittently) work? Before I removed the seat function fuse, all the seat functions worked except forward and backward. When I couldn't find a replacement fuse at the auto parts store, I came home and reinstalled the original fuse; the seat moved forward and backward again. I just had my 03 in the dealer for the Service Bullitin on the seat reprogram....
