i finally saw the tactical edition with the black wheels yesterday in person......they just didn't look right. the finish is a glossy black, which is cool and what i thought i wanted, but then the rest of the trim on these H3's is flat or charcoal grey at best. they just looked overly black with all the other trim items were a very deep grey. i had thought about getting these but i think i'm changing my mind. it may have also been the tire combo also......as these tactical jokers aren't available on anything other than the base tires, it just made the whole setup look very weak. oh well, looks like i may be looking aftermarket or just powder coating my OEM wheels when i go to do the brake calipers.

I have not seen them in person but I am with you. I don't like the pics I have seen. I am not a big "chrome" fan so I will keep looking.

Very aggressive look! But me likes mucho chrome so you can find me in the tall grass.

just powder coat the ones you have.alot cheaper.

Hey Guys.....New here but i just purchased an 07 Vicotry Red H3 with the tactical package and adventure package......I agree and disagree with you guys. Im not much of a chrome guy either and looking at the picture of the grey one posted with the rims...Not sure i like that either. But mine with the red and the black to me look killer.....Plus its kinds limited so that makes it kool.....Chris

How do we really know you have an H3 without pics?

how'd you get a "tactical edition" with the "adventure package"? supposedly not an option. did you just get the black wheels on the adv?

I think there are two mind-sets with the Hummers. One is for show and glitz and the other it for a rugged mud running, rock climbing military look.

For me, I prefer to see my ride as a work of art and beauty. On a Hummer, chrome & glitz helps you get there. But we all have our own likes and dislikes. Imagine if all our Hummers were the same color and same options. Geez, imagine what it would be like if the only ride in the world were H3s!!
