I dont have the tow package on mine, and when I went to the dealer to inquire about putting one on I found out the parts come to a little over $900.00. I got looking around under mine and at the picture the dealer printed off for me with all of the part diagrams and where they go. It appears that the frame horns, bumper mounts, look the same on mine as on the paper, so could someone take a picture of thier tow package for me? Specifically where the draw bar mounts to the frame horns. If these parts are the same, all I would need is the draw bar and the bumper with the cut out. I'm not worried about the electrical stuff.

Thanks Dennis. The frame horns appear to be the same. The big square hole is what I was looking at, and I was curious if there were bolt holes that were missing to attach the tow bar. Yours is welded, so that is an easy job to do. I need to replace the bumper anyway because a nasty rock discovered mine and my license plate. I figure I could do it all at once.

Yeah, I have seriously considered one of those, and I may still go that way, but the biggest drawback is that it hangs below the bumper hurting the departure angle. I think with some creative fabrication, I may be able to build a rock rail, so to speak, for the rear bumper and add another tow hook for the other side if I used an aftermarket reciever. This should help compensate for the deminished departure angle.

Thanks guys for the links. The aftermarket hitches are also available at almost all of the U-Haul shops as well, and just about any RV supply place. When you throw in the cost of shipping, they can be just as cheap if not cheaper then purchasing online. I'm still on the fence about it, and I'm even thinking of removing the rear bumper all together and fabricating a roll pan for the viod left behind the bumper and placing a hitch in there along with another tow hook. That is a lot of work, and I don't know how it would look, or where to put the license plate so it doesn't get boogered up again.

Hi There, My H3 did not come with a factory bumper/hitch included, so I went on ebay and found a slightly used H3 FACTORY rear bumper with hitch for $200 including shipping. 6 bolts later and it looks just like the factory did it. Now all I am missing is the wiring. Just save the search "H3 rear bumper" on ebay and it will email you every day when something new is posted. Good Luck!
