Can't seem to find the whole story..But something about them stopping the emergency service...My concern is that for dues paying members too, who have the yearly contract?

that's the only reason I have the service. ill cancel it if they do away with that. you know if you call to ancel they'll drop your rate to 12.95 a month right? they did for me and a few others on here.

Mine is up in August.............How recent was this deal being offered.....?

I know when I called XM and told them I was leaving, they put me in touch with a "Customer Retention Specialist"....

Got a pretty significant discount......It's been a while so I cant quote you...but it was significant.

I'll have to try it on OnStar...

Ahhh.......Now I remember. 
I posted this a while ago http://www.hummerforums.com/m_40911/tm.htm 

It sounds like most newer cars won't be affected. But, if you have a older vehicle with the Star, you might be screwed
