What's up with OnStar?

Can't seem to find the whole story..But something about them stopping the emergency service...My concern is that for dues paying members too, who have the yearly contract?

that's the only reason I have the service. ill cancel it if they do away with that. you know if you call to ancel they'll drop your rate to 12.95 a month right? they did for me and a few others on here.

Mine is up in August.............How recent was this deal being offered.....? I know when I called XM and told them I was leaving, they put me in touch with a "Customer Retention Specialist".... Got a pretty significant discount......It's been a while so I cant quote you...but it was significant. I'll have to try it on OnStar...

Ahhh.......Now I remember. I posted this a while ago http://www.hummerforums.com/m_40911/tm.htm It sounds like most newer cars won't be affected. But, if you have a older vehicle with the Star, you might be screwed[:@]
