Mine is an '07 that currently has about 800 miles on it.  First tank about 12.5, next tank just under 14, the next I got over 16 (lots of highway) and just did it again and back to around 12.  Mine seems to really like the highway alot better.  I do agree with the others, though...the mileage on almost all cars improves significantly after 3-4000 miles.  Good luck with it!

I just went from Georgia to Louisiana and back doing 75mph most of the way and got around 20mpg.

Somehow I doubt that!  Why don't you educate me on how you calculated your fuel mileage.  The best MPGs I've gotten since owning my H3 is 16.8 and that's doing around 65-70 mph all freeway driving.

My tank was topped off and my factory tires were at 44 instead of the recommended 30 psi.
That the only thing I did different. Mine is an 07, purchased in October of 06 with the 3.7 if that makes a difference.

if I ever get over 12 mpg I'll get an instant chubby. but my dodge gets 7 mpg so the 9 I get in the h3 isn't so bad.

20 mpg going at those speeds because you are running 44psi instead of 30.....LMFAO.....your silly

Well I couldn't think of a better reason. Besides why is it not possible? I asked a few tire mechanics about it and they agreed that running the tires at higher ps would improve my gas mileage.
The H3 commercial braggs about 20mpg. Maybe I only got 19, no biggie, But I don't have the bad gas mileage that I keep hearing you guys talk about. I'm not trying to put anyone down, I just thought that I would share my road trip findings.
