argh! I couldn't get out of work early enough to get to the dealer before they close --- so I'm going tomorrow morning.   I can't wait!

Well guys, I went to the Hummer dealer this morning.  I had a blast!  When I walked in, I immediately sat in a H2 Luxury, and I fell in love.  I met up with the salesman that I spoke to over the phone.  He was a good guy and very informative.  Although we spoke briefly of the 2008, we agreed that he will contact me when he gets the specs and prices for the 2008 H2.  I told him I was ready to put a deposit and he told me to hold on to it until he receives more information.  He said he didn't want to waste my time if the 2008 wasn't something I was looking for.  I thought that was truly nice of him.

Next, onto the test drive.  It was a blast.  I was sold! I drove a Special Edition H2 (I think that's what he said), it had carbon fiber trim on the dashboards, the rear view backup camera, dvd screens in the front headrests, navigation, third row, and sunroof.  I took that thing on the road and it was a new feeling!  This is the first SUV that I am interested in and it's definitely going to be my first SUV purchase.

We got back to the dealer and the salesman said he would contact me when he gets all the information and I can come down to put a deposit.  He said they should be getting the new H2s in August, and the information including pricing should be released in July.

After I got home, I still can't figure out which color I want, but I am definitely going with the Luxury trim.

Haha thanks guys for the suggestions! All of them look great.  I just can't wait for the call that the dealer has pricing for the new '08s!
