So, I have read the various posts about Gibson, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Volant... etc....Has anyone ever seen a comparison of sorts for these exhausts on any site or forums?

I definetely want to get a dual tip exhaust, and if I had my wish it would make my H3 sound "throatier" (if thats a word) or make it have a deeper sound like a bigger motor was under the hood without compromising too much (if anything) inside the cab of the vehicle....  Is that even possible?   I am asking for the best of both worlds...   I dont want it to sound like a harley... Just to be deeper and more noticeable than it is now, without scaring people out of the car... haha

Tell me about your exhaust and why you love it!

Thanks

Josh

I love my Gibson because there is no difference in performance from all the rest and the sound is great...And most importantly, because it's the least expensive.

I noticed in the pictures on this forum that the magnaflow is behind the rear axle and the gibson is in front.... Whats the advantage/disadvantage if any?  clearance?  ease of installation? proximity for cabin noise?

Thoughts?

I think the behind the axle mounted muffler approach helps the rear bumper from digging into the mud like an earth mover, as you climb out of valleys, etc., But if you don't off road, then the center mounted muffler shouldn't be an issue. Can't tell you about the cabin noise difference, but on mine, there is very little drone at cruising speeds.
