I'm buying 18x8.5" wheels with a 6x5.5 bolt pattern. I want to put a 33" tire on the rims. The thing is I have no clue on the sizes of the tire besides the actual 33". Can anyone point me in the direction I need to go to learn about what sizes I need to look for? I went looking on http://www.4wd.com/procomp/ and seen some 33" tires, but they also said x 13.50R-18 I know the 18" is the rim size so I'm good there. What I need to know is does the 13.50 need to say 8.5 like my rim? Anyway if anyone could help me out with that. Thank you.

Luke

the 13.50 is the tire width, that will be good for an 8 or 8.5" wide rim, Hell I've already stuffed 13" wide on a 7" rim before with no problem.

Ok with some rethought I'm keeping the stock rims and would just like to put the 35"s on them. Would either of these sizes work? Thanks in advance.

(Size, Load Range, Diameter, Width, Tread Depth, Tread Width)

315/75R16 D 34.7 13.2 20.5 10.1

325/80R16 D 36.75 13.5 21 11

315/75R16 D 34.7 12.8 18 10.1

Hey Luke, On stock H3--not lifted, I believe you will have problems stuffing a 36 in the wheel wells. Alot of H3 owners are putting 315/75/16's on with no problems other than a slight rub on full right turn wheel lock. Including me. A 36 will probably fit but Im about 100% sure you will have alot of clearance issues with them. A 35 is pushin the limits on mine without a lift. Here's acouple pics of clearance on mine.

Heres the 315 75 16 Toyo mud tire and it clears very good with torison bar turned. only if I do a hard all the way to the right does it rub just a little bit. I still have the sharp turning radius that I had before .

Thanks for the help guys. I'm a total geek and know nothing of tire sizes. I didn't know I posted 36" sizes. All of your guys tires look awesome by the way. I will look for the sizes you guys mentioned. If you can remember where you got them can you let me know so I can goto them? Thanks.

If you want one, you better hurry up. They're not being made anymore.
