NHRA Day for me and Obie1   Printable Version Hummer Forums >> Hummer Forums - General >> Off Topic >> NHRA Day for me and Obie1 Page: [1] Login Message << Older Topic   Newer Topic >> NHRA Day for me and Obie1 - 6/11/2007 6:43:28 AM    HummerGuy Posts: 6689 Status: offline Well, Sunday the 10th was my wife and I's first NHRA race at Route 66 Raceway.  It was pretty damn awsome, better then we both expected.  Obie1 (Bob) and his wife are great people to hang out with. They showed us around the place.  He looks like Mike Ditka and Paul Tautle in one pacakge   Anyway, my wife got pictures with Ashely, John AND Laurie Force.  We saw her just standing there and I got a picture of her and my wife.  Alas, I don't have the pictures right now, but I will. We had to leave a little early because my wife wasn't feeling well.and we have a concert to go to tonight   Since John and Ashley both got eliminated at the 1rst round, I think my wife's interest went down the tubes after that.  BLEH!!  I wanted to stay but you know how THAT goes I think I finally found a sport I like.  WOOHOO.  My wife wants me to get into it, but with no money or car, it could be a problem Post #: 1 RE: NHRA Day for me and Obie1 - 6/12/2007 12:48:53 AM    HummBob Posts: 16229 Joined: 5/6/2006 Status: offline AWESOME Mike, sounds like you had a BLAST!!!!
