Yep, .. or you can buy a can of black "trim paint" at any auto parts and paint over the offending parts, and leave the Hummer logo's,  or black it all out if you want.

I am almost positive I saw a plain black canvas type tire cover without any logo/letter of any kind on ebay today or yesterday.  I am at my wifes school where she works, ebay is blocked or I would see if I could find it.

Maybe later I will look or you will find it before then.  If not on ebay I saw it somewhere, it does exist.

Cool so this works without destroying the cover?

Has anyone flipped a dealer cover around inside out?   Will it look the same or not fit right?

You can try this place Tire-Covers.com They have any type of spare tire cover you could possibly want. BTW they make covers for oversize tires and special order covers also.

I have the vinyl/plastic version of the tire cover and also wanted to remove the logo to just have a plain black cover.  After testing several chemicals to see what would remove the paint (it is tough stuff) I ended up trying a plastic-safe paint remover I got at Lowe's.  Even that didn't do a good enough job and left an uneven result after two attempts.  So, I made a trip to Home Depot and picked up some Fusion plastic paint in the black hammered color.  I taped the vinyl off, prepped the plastic and put a few coats of paint on it.  matches the bumper plastic almost perfectly.  That's it for now until I can find a used Tactical cover to replace it - the stocker from GM costs a fortune.

I highly recommend Patche's approach if you get that cover.  The "Hummer H3" logo is on there really good and virtually anything that will remove it will mess up another part of the cover.  I spent countless hours on my cover trying to remove the logo and in the end wished I had just painted over it from the start.

I'm not trying to be facitious but I have the Tactical Cover and can't decide if I like it on the truck or not. I put it on one week, take it off the next. Haven't had it on since I put the 33's on though. It is only a cosmetic thing, right?

Confirming acetone can be used on a soft vinyl cover to remove the letters?  I want to remove the dealer's logo and keep "Hummer".

Never tried it, but I would think that it will leave a "dull" spot where you used it unless you do the entire cover. I think that Patches has the best method out there without actually buying one. IMO Maybe tape off the HUMMER and follow his process.
