 I blew it! Kild answered the question that I asked, but I was actually looking for a different answer-unfortunately I did not include a detail which would have invalidated Kild's response. So let me try it again and add in that detail and see if you can answer it now........
OK, it is the bottom of the ninth inning and the score is tied 2-2. There are two outs, and the bases are loaded. The batter hits a 3-2 pitch in fair territory over the left field wall for a home run, deep into the seats and the ball is not caught by anyone, but no men score. Why not?
