FEEDBACK 14MPG Max on new H3????

Hi everyone, I just bought a H3 2 weeks ago. Ive gone through 2 full tanks.Got 14 MGP on the first tank 3/4 of it being highway. On the second tank I got 12.65 Mpg mostly city. Those numbers seem a bit low to me.Wil they get better as it breaks in or do I possibly have a problem.I live in Pismo Beach,Ca. Its difficult to take to the dealer because the nearest one is over 100 miles away. So I was hoping for some feedback from U guys. Before I take it in. Thanks in advance, Tony

Your right on avarage with the other H3'ers. It may get a little better as time goes by[;)]

First, I live in the Denver area and have 5800 miles on my H3...and my H3 is completely stock. The lowest MPG I have ever gotten is 15. On the last two tanks I am averaging 17.5 mpg. I drive about 3/4 highway and 1/4 city driving. As a footnote due to the gas prices I drive very mellow in the H3. I typically do the speed limit and accelerate very smoothly.
