OK guy's we got back our H3 back. I'll post pics as soon as I get them, give me a few days or so. Rhett from Gibson hooked us up for letting them borrow our 07 H3. This is what they came up with. The 06 system fits the 07's. He also mentioned that if you are looking for more noise, you want to go with the dual exhaust. If you are looking for performance, you want the single exhaust. Reason being is the obvious, less bends. The single exhaust system is a larger diameter than the stock. It come out of the catalytic converter and goes straight back, only bending for the rear axle. The exhaust noise is noticeable enough that you do notice an after market sound. And you really do notice an acceleration difference from a dead stop. So over all, I do recommend getting the Gibson system, I’d buy it if I won’t of gotten it for free.

Ernie & Lexi Congrats on your new exhaust and the price can't be beaten, but I'm a bit confused. I've had my Gibson dual rear exhaust for my '07 for a few months now. Were you referring to them comming out with the single soon? Thumbnail Image

07HUMMERH3 - As far as what Gibson told me, They didn't have a part number for the 07 He, people were selling the 06 system to 07 owners, but Gibson had not verified the fit yet, so they didn't have a part number for either the single or the dual 07 systems till then fitted them on my 07 H3.

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying for me. If it is any help (post hoc) the dual system fits like a glove as per my own personal experience. --I love it!

Just put the Gibson dual outlet exhaust on my 07 (had an installer do it for me). No problems, sounds great! Besides at startup, the increased sound begins around 2300 rpm in the cabin so if you need a quiet exhaust this isn't the one for you. It's not loud nor does it sound like a rice burner but it's not quiet like stock. There's a nice burble to it almost like there were a V8 under the hood. Also (I know the forum members aren't a fan of this product) I put the Airaid quick install filter on my H3. I noticed a quick change in the performance of engine once the Airaid was put on. Acceleration felt quicker, especially when getting onto the highway. I didn't notice as much of a change, if any, with the exhaust. Maybe if I had done the exhaust first the changes would have been similar--more benefit from the first addition, less from the second. Either way, I like the look and sound of the Gibson (and the Airaid). I found it interesting that the muffler moves from behind the rear bumper to in front of the rear axle. Pics below.
