that's common on H2s, and its related to those fake air intake bumps on the left and right sides of the hood area near the window. i corrected the rattle on my truck this way: 1. remove each bump (they pop out, and are held by 4 typical GM pins, which are great as they snap back in). The fake intake bumps have positioning pegs near the snaps, which tend to break off. This hasn't caused much trouble fo rme. 2. dynamat the entire inside of the intake bumps, and all of the area under the intake bumps 3. replace the bumps That did the trick for me, AFTER i also tracked down a vibration (and treated with 3m tape) in the dash piece under those bumps that spans the whole front of the truck right in front of the windshield. I took some pics of the problem areas and the fix, and i'll try to remember to post them. But A) focus on the area around the intake bumps B) space with foam tape and/or Dyanmat all possible offending pieces Its real easy. This is a case of the styling of the H2 kicking us in the rear. The horrid aerodynamics (a result of the styling) cause alot of turbulence. But its easy to fix, and the big truck remains as cool as it'll always be. ;)

Just did the full meal dral to mine, no more noise. I thought it was the wind deflector for the sunroof making the noise. Nice and quiet, or as quite as a brick can be
