Does anyone know where I could get a keyless remote start that would integrate with factory system. Would love to be able to have my H3 start up and get really chilled down before I get to it, on these hot Texas days. Any ideas of where and how much, I could get it for?

Your dealer may have them. I went that route ONLY because then I don't have ANY WARRANTY PROBLEMS.

Any High End Car Audio place will also carry them.

I have the Compustar Pro P2W9000FMR. It's COOL!! The tech at my HUMMER dealership set it so when I start it in the winter, the heated seats come on!! Around $500 installed.

Up to 3000* feet of Range
This new CompuStar Pro 2W9000FMR remote has a built in clock, in-vehicle temperature readout, and battery voltage sensing. This system operates at a higher frequency to allow for greater range and battery life. Firstech engineers were the first to perfect 900MHz FM for vehicle security applications and we've taken this technology to the next level with the 2W9000FMR Pro.

*Range is quoted for U.S. models only. International models will differ in range.

Wow!  My wife offered me a choice of a remote starter for my truck or a cooler for bottles of wine as an Easter gift.  I planned on the remote starter but hadn't "cashed in" yet since I am trading in my pickup for the Hummer.  Wonder what she would say (or throw at me! <g>) if I told her this is the remote starter I would like!

I had an Omega Max-E system put in our H3, which includes a new security system (can run two way remotes like Hummbob has) and also includes the remote start.  It was  $800 installed, and another $100 for the two way transmitter.

Thanks folks. That sounds like what I want. Question for HummBob:
Does this integrate with the factory alarms and locks, and do you just use this remote, rather then the original that came with the H3 for unlocking the doors, etc?
Does this impact OnStars ability to unlock the doors and do all their magic that they do?

It has it's OWN alarm system built in that is WAAAAAAYYYY better than the crappy OEM one!!

The remote is programmed to lock/unlock your doors/hatch so you only have to have the 1 remote on your keychain.

Doesn't impact OnStar at all! They can still do all their tests or whatever as well as open the doors.

Hope this helps. It's an AWESOME system. I've been using Compustar for YEARS!!
