I never buy gas from them We have one station in my city soon as that came out a couple months ago the owner put a american flag over the sign now he swithing to another brand.

I don't use Citgo either, however the message appears on the Urban Legend website. The site does indicate that Citgo is owned by the Venezuelan government, and that a boycott of the gas does impact the government's coffers "somewhat". http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_citgo_boycott.htm#note
