Getting ready to install a K&N 57 Series air intake filter on 06 H3, any advice and is it something that is pretty straight forward.  Any tips or advice would be helpful.

Use the search function on the forum, several members here have installed it, and they all said it was very easy!

The install is very easy to do, it should take about 30 to 45 mins.  First take off the older air box and can from above the engine all the way over to the intake.  Second put the rubber lining around the metal intake box frame (tou know that pieace of metal that came in the box from K&N) Third the place the tubing and the two wire clamps on above the engine, it is the pictures.  The put in the metal with the rubber lining and then put in the tube.  Dont worry if it doesn't go perfectly into the curcle... the air filter will reach.  Make sure to screw the bracket to the engine tight, I lost my screw for that bracket the first day.  (The bracket is the one which goes from the middle of the tube down.)  If you need I can help you more.  It is easy to do, make sure you put the rubber  on the metal right.  There are three pieces, the smallest go inside the whole, the longest goes over the top and side and the second shortest goes on the bottom.

Good Luck, Justin
