Guys,
This promotion is definitely Hummer related, and it's one that makes a
lot of sense.
Short story: Captain Chris Braden of Bravo Company, 2/27th Infantry
Regiment (25th Infantry Division) is an avid off roader. He also is
stationed in the sandbox and has figured out that Humvee's equipped
with killer off-road lights help save lives by identifying potential
IED's and other dangers at night.
His experiments (and wiring acumen) have shown that a minimum of 4
(mix of spot and wide area lamps) give the best mix.
So - 4 Wheel Parts has stepped in to help. Initially they donated
5000 bucks of lamps to see if the experiment worked. It did.
Now - they want to see if they can equip the entire 27th Infantry
Division's vehicles with the same experiment - a minimum of 4 lamps
per HMMWV.
They will be helping the goal out of 672 lamps by offering to pay for
50% of lamps ordered through their web site....and ship it to the
Wolfhounds of the 2/27th on their dime.
