ORIGINAL: Greenblade the problem with that is that 20,000,000 americans will be empty that day, and need to fill up. do the big price fluctuations we've seen at the pumps reflect their costs? nope. are tey making exorbitant profits? yep. but can we really do anything about it? nope. is my hummer more expensive to drive than my hybrid? not really. year round (excluding offroad miles for the hummer) the hummer got about 13 and change, the hybrid got low 40's (EPA estimate is 60, which is bunk). So on a cost of vehicle to cost of gas basis, the hummer is as cheap as the prius. At points in the winter, the hybrid got high 20's, while the hummer still got 12. so well under 3x the gas mileage. anybody driving an H2 simply can't possibly care all that much about gas prices, its not like hummbob or zyne are starving. [:D][:D][:D] Excellent point. The only way feesable for me to buy my dream 95 H1, is that I own a 93 Geo metro thats my commuter car. It gets 38mpg....and the best thing about it I bought it for $500. I love that little car...others may lauph...but on the back glass it says "MY OTHER CAR IS A H1"...LOL.
