ORIGINAL: ChevyHighPerformance I had a chance to ride in a modded 3.5L I5 H3. It's 0-60MPH was mid 8 seconds compared to 10.2-11.1 seconds for the stock 3.5L H3 depending on what magazine you believe. His mods were: K&N air box Cold air ducting Home ported throttle body Gutted exhaust manifold cat Exhaust Tuning The early reports that I read said the the H3 alpha will run 0-60MPH in just under 8 seconds to just over 8 seconds. I'd expect alpha performance with better MPG from a 3.7L with these mods. Wow, that is disappointing! I'm a motorhead and been around the block a few times. I'm also a newbie at this forum. But I know enough that those are horrible 0-60 times. A lot of SUVs would put those numbers away. A lot of vehicles with displacement of about 3.7 are putting much bigger numbers. My 3.6 CTS V6 puts out 255HP. In 2008 it will be 300HP. I'm not intentional digging in your $h!t guys. I'm seriously looking at the H3.

Well said Dennis, we seem to have a problem lately with new members "doggin'' the product with there first few posts. Hopefully we deal with it all in good fun. There are volumes of information on this forum as well as many experienced members that can help people with their decisions to buy any Hummer for on or off road or both.Just ask away!
