There has been much discussion of late in the Hummer community about the Red Cross and Hummer "HOPE" program - some people have been discouraged by the red tape and have expressed an interest in doing volunteer work on an individual level... well, if you have ever considered that, here's a role model for you. And, he could use your help -- John would really like to get the names and contact information for Hummer owners around the country who may be able to help him out in the event that he needs mechanical/technical support while he is responding to emergencies in your area of the country... so contact him through his webpage - tell him Manny sent you.

"How could a guy that drives that H1 wagon plastered with stickers, loaded with gear and towing a rescue boat go unnoticed!? Surely, one doesn't win a national community service award like the Jefferson Award if nobody notices. You certainly can't win Fire Fighter of the Year from the state of Indiana if nobody notices.
