Hey everyone, just wanted to SHARE MY EXCITEMENT!! Getting my NEW DECK installed later today. It's the Eclipse AVN6610:

It's similar to the AVN2454 that I have now with a few new added features. It has a 7" screen instead of 6 1/2" since they rearranged all of the buttons on the bottom of the deck. I can also have a DVD playing for my nephew in the back seat and for my visor monitor for the wife WHILE the NAV is on the head unit since it has 2 seperate DVD drives.

I'm also having my BEC106 rear camera installed:

As well as the BT-E600 Parrot Bluetooth dealy installed. Supposedly I can make calls via VOICE through the new deck as well as hear calls through my speakers. The AVN6610 automatically mutes the volume on whatever I'm watching/listening to when a call comes in. Pretty COOL!!

Wow.................looks like Christmas came early.

Everything sounds pretty cool. Where are you putting the camera?

I've had the camera for almost a 6 months, just never got around to installing it. I've been wanting this deck for a while as the wife ALWAYS watches SOMETHING whenever we go ANYWHERE together. We have a Pioneer HD/DVD Recorder, so she tapes TONS of TV shows(especially JUDGES

) so this way I can still have my NAV going while she watches whatever! I got a good package deal with the deck and the Parrot thing together, PLUS Calgary is buying my other Eclipse which makes this cost more palatable.

I figure when I get to the stereo shop this afternoon, the installer and I will figure out where to place the camera and the Parrot dealy!!!

Got The Princess back today!!!!

I'm SUPER PUMPED with how everything worked out!!!

Looks SMOKIN'!!! I'll try and take some pics in the next few days. The back-up camera is a SWEET TOY!!

I love the Bluetooth Dealy, just gotta try and figure out all the functions. Supposedly the called id will show up on my NAV Screen??!!!

Also, met fellow forum member, Calgary tonite. He bought my AVN2454 from me. He was in town so I went to see him and drop off the NAV. He got to meet The Princess IN PERSON!!! LUCKY GUY(and SUPER nice)!!!

So Bob..........That's a lot of toys.

I guess the profit margin on all those DVD titles you've been getting from Mainland China have been pretty good.
