picked up my 07 H3 Monday ,  base model w/ 5sp manual.  Is radio XM ready?

spoke w/ service advisor and he wasn't sure either.  forget the salesman he did even know the floor mats were incl.

you would know if you had XM   its a band choice on the radio  toggles from am, fm1, fm2, xm1,xm2

The dealer has to call/email XM to activate it.  If you don't have it call the salesman and tell him to activate it.  You can also call onstar and they can tell you if it's activated and what your ID number is.

I had to call my dealer and have them activate it.  Took about 2 days before I got it.

I think it has to do with when your truck was manufactured. I just recently bought a 2007 H2 (March) and it does not have XM.

thats right
and to find ur radio ID #
go to channel 1  and push the middle of the selector knob
then call 1-800-967-2346  and they will activate ur radio
if i remember right you must leave it on channel 1 for 20 mins
to get the download from xm so all the channels will work
