A fill-up here, as of late, runs darn close to $120...and we'll no doubt be
seeing even closer to four bucks per gallon within the upcoming months.

Just gassed up at Racetrac in South Arlington today I-20 @ Collins (Friday the 18th) paid $2.89 for 87 octane. headed out to the Moab area tomorrow morning! I'M SURE IT IS A LOT MORE THERE! I was in Ft. Smith, AR on business this week and it was about $3.12 there on Thursday. Last week I was in Detroit and it was about $3.19 near the airport.

Also, I just got my oil changed. Mileage was 6560. This is my second oilchange. First one was a freebie from the dealer, this time I went to my local PepBoys and got the Penzoil Platinum Synthetic oil, it was $63.00 total minus a $13.00 rebate to come. Their rate was $5.99 per qt. and about $17 for labor, forget what the filter was.

I polished her up last weekend with ICE and she's a beaut right now, looking forward to the road trip and getting away from my job, cell phone, paper work, city traffic, etc.

Hey Gunner,

Yeppers, that's where I gas up when I'm in the metroplex. I live pretty close to that store. And I do have the H3 pin striping that has the HUMMER logo on the breathers.

Mine is black with chrome nerfs, mirrors, handles roofrack with chrome letters plus chrome letters on the front bumper and you'll know the Magnaflow duals when you hear it.

I'm in New Mexico now, we went to Carlsbad Caverns yesterday, headed up north today making our way to Moab for the rest of the week.

Nice road trip.......I'm jealous....Make sure you post some pics upon your return.

I work over in that area....I'm really surprised I haven't seen you. I'll just have to listen
for the Magnaflows (I've been really curious to hear some in person).

Be safe Bro and enjoy the rest of your trip.

Gas here in Illinois is $3.64 where I live, which is about 35 to 40 miles SW of Chicago, where it is now about $4.10 to $4.20 a gallon.

Illinois/Chicago officially has the highest gas prices in the country right now.

On a lighter note, I have gotten 400 miles to a tank for the last 3 tanks, mainly because I consistantly drive only about 50 to 55 MPH on this country roads to and from the train.  That's with 87 octane and the good old PCM tune.  I don't drive with the AC either unless it's 95+ degrees out.
