U are better off going to www.pcmforless.com and getting the reprogram of your PCM. It is v ery easy, and
 the results definitely noticable.

Don't do it.  It's just a stupid little resistor you can buy at Radio Shack that gives the computer false air flow readings to pump out more power.  In the long-run it will cause damage to your air flow sensor and cause excessive carbon build up in your engine.

I don't know anything about speed chips, but I know someone who could tell you about fuel magnets.

So the re-program from is www.pcmforless.com option will NOT hurt the engine at all?  I could sure use more power going through the higher mountain passes here.

I just sent mine out last week to Kelly and should have it back soon. I have heard all good stuff about PCMforless. It's easy to take out and replace. I can't wait!

Update....
PCMforless received my PCM yesterday afternoon and Kelly just informed me that today its on the way back to me. 1/2 day turn around! Not bad! Top Notch!
I'll see it soon and we'll see how well it works.

So how much of an increase in HP, pick-up, etc. have you all seen?  Does it help those of us who have the 35's on our Hummers to compensate for the extra weight?

Thanks,

David

I can't say actually what the HP increase is..but I can say, as well as everyone else who has had it done, that there is a noticable increase in pickup and power throughout the throttle range...Couple that with a CAI and a Cat-back exhaust..I guesstimate that I have about 35 to 40 HP gain now.
