well, in his defense, there is a lot of good technical info on the other site.  finding it is relatively easy too.  and, if you feel like having your e-ego stepped on, it's a nice place to hang out.

I do agree that there alot of my TECHNICAL info has been aquired at the other site as there seems to be MORE GEARHEADS over there. But on the OTHER HAND, there are WAY more ASSHOLES over there. We just have Shorty!!

well, being number 1 really isn't all that important . . . . unless it's for the very first ever Hummerforums.com ride of the month competition, then number 1 is vital and all that follow are simply number 1 losers . . . . . .

........... Hey WAIT A MINUTE!!!!

I agree that they do have a lot of helpful info on they're site. But that doesn't mean I have to talk them. They're a bunch of d-bags!

and to think, I let this Hummer-guy be a member here

I guess you have to be rude, crude and socialiably unacceptable to be rated at #1 by our (cough) friend here...Oh I know!..Let's start a club..We'll call ourselfs "The Black Sheep squadron", then we'll flame everyone that doesn't 100% agree with or get along with the madam of the forum...Ooops!, my bad, the #1 forum has already did that name....
Let's see..Hmmmm.....Maybe, "The Dukes of Hazard" or The DumbSh!ts....

Denny, I totally agree.  I had heard what they were like over there, so I shouldn't have been surprised. I stepped over there - well y'all know the story. I was NOT trollish,  NOT there to BASH the (my) H3, just posted factual experiences. I was treated rudely and unacceptably and they conducted themselves over there like a silly immature chatroom clique - the kind back in the (early) days of AOL, etc.  The signatures of a couple in particular just further displayed the mentality over there...(those who live thru the Internet and take it as reality - can we say get a life? <and some manners>) I don't give a damn if they have the best info on the Internet on Hummers, after seeing it for myself, I will never go back!  We have plenty of knowledge here - and thanks to all who help make this a terrific forum!

Let's not forget, our friend HummerGuy123 is on that forum.

And you know what, that makes me wonder if this person Jason was REALLY HummerGuy123.  Perhaps that is him.

Anyway, I would bet half of them are spoiled teenagers who are arrogant and think they are God's gift to humanity because their parents raised them that way.  Secondly, I would bet alot of them are just Hummer fans and don't even own the vehicles.  There are some members that are good, like HummerMike (whom I converted over to here from there and who found me when I joined there) but for the most part I wonder what level of maturity and intelligence some of them have.

A forum is only as good as people who are a part of it.  In my opinion, if the members are of bad taste and character, despite the technical information available, is a waste of time.  Considering how many Hummer service department employees are on this forum and actively participate, I have a hard time believing the other forum has better information.

Consider this: Who wants to be rediculed and made fun of for asking a question that these members deem "stupid"? I don't think ANYBODY  that has posted a question on here has been rediculed once since I have been a member for asking a general question that people all know, but maybe this person did not.  Why would you want to be a part of a community like that?  I don't.

When I first joined both of thse forums, the other one was completely useless.  I could not find a damn thing about any technical issues I was looking for.  I stuck with this one because people actually knew what they were talking about, and didn't treat people like crap.

No disrespect to you my friend, Hummer Guy, but I say this in the nicest way, "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?"

Again, I say this with a smile on my face
