OHHHHH Dan! Sorry, I did not realize that you were the Dan Dennis was referring to. I only saw the 1st 2 or 3 posts that were quite derrogatory towards me lol.  I signed out and did not intend to go back...I don't have time nor the desire to be a part of that kind of nonsense. Thank you for the back up then!   I did not go over there with any intentions of being rude or trollish nor becoming a part of that group. I just wanted to leave an informative post in places where there might be someone who experiences some of the same probs I have..period. Thanks again!

Sorry that all this has happened.  How has your dealer treated you?  I believe there really is nothing the service manager can do for you.  I know they want the best for you but the service manager should of never said "he will not let his happen to you".  I don't think he has any power over anything.  Maybe if you were causing problems, yelling or being a complete idiot... all he could maybe do is put a bad word in for you.  I know this didn't happen though, you seem like very nice person.  What dealer do you go to?

BTW, these are the coverage plans that they have promised me - they all vary quite a bit.

1.  Dec. 2006 - 7 yr/100,000 mile complete engine/drivetrain
(letter came and was only various engine components and no drivetrain)

2.  Feb 2007  - 84 mo/75,000 mile GMPP (bumper to bumper)
(3 weeks later told me it was a mistake and they wouldn't give that)

3.  April 2007 - in writing 84 mo/70,000 miles from april's date of issue (in otherwords
added on to what I already had time and milewise)

4.  1 week later after they had my letter  - called me and wanted to change it to
60 mos/75,000 total (not added on to what I already had)

5.   May 1st - called me and told me they were not honoring their promise and I
get nothing and they are closing my file as "unsatisfied customer"

Jeep,

The dealer is hmmm I'd say somewhat indifferent to me (I get it serviced elsewhere from where I purchased it unfortunately because my dealer is so far away.) I often get the impression when I take it in for service that unless you have an H2 - you aren't a big money maker and perhaps not as important to them. I have never been anything BUT nice with the service people there. I joke around with them even when I am upset - (like when they have my H3 for a week and can't figure out what the noise is that it's making). I don't treat people rudely in reality UNTIL I feel I have been treated that way.  Just as I wasn't rude to the GM folks either until today.  Do I pour on the sugar? NO.... but I was never anything but amicable and nice.

My dealer of purchase was Williamson Cadillac Hummer who was GREAT! And my servicing dealer is Vera Cadillac Hummer.

Which dealer is this "I often get the impression when I take it in for service that unless you have an H2 - you aren't a big money maker and perhaps not as important to them."  I will make sure NOT to buy my new one there. I have also experienced this feeling.

Sorry about all the sh!t you had to go through to get nowhere Wifey.  It really pisses me off that you got treated that way.

Also, the way you were treated at the #%@*# forum was very childish.  What a bunch of A-HOLES!

Yes it does suk.  Just when I am planning on trading in my 06 for a 07 and going to purchase 3 more for my buisness.  I don't want to end up at the dealer(s) LawWyfe goes to, espeically the one she returned her warranty letter to.  We live in the same area.  Maybe I will look into something else for my buisness.

I'm sorry to hear you've had such a bad time with GM. Until I purchased my current H3, I had sworn off
GM products since 1982 and Ford products since 2000. I still have a 2 inch thick file on my Pontiac T/A
(engine problems, tranny problems, electrical nightmares, paint peeling, on and on and on) and one almost
as bad on a Ford Exploder (3 trannies, a rear diff and a cornucopia of other crap). On both vehicles, I
received the same sort of run around you have gotten on your H3. Unlike yourself, I gave up, traded the
vehicles, took a bath in the process and went import. This H3 was my first foray back into US made
vehicles......Your experience with GM doesn't bode well.

I guess what I'm really trying to say is, Darlin' I feel your pain.

If any good comes of your experience, it will be that any potential buyers who read this forum will be forewarned.

I guess they (GM) have never heard that old saying "It's cheaper to Keep her"....

It would be great if we could get GM to post their official position on this issue.

Best of luck,

mvl

Stangs, THAT's why I am here darlin! Here where people act like "grownups" (unless of course we are cutting the fool which everyone needs to do on occasion LOL) Thank you for the continued words of support all...

And Gunn, sugar thanks for the kind words also....Jeep...I will will respond to you later in more depth..it's dinner time now and I must attend to my KP duties! LOL

And for the record, it's never been my intentions to trash the H3...I have LOVED mine! But it is just unconscionable that GM would treat me this way! Still, I don't think I would try to discourage anyone from buying an H3..I might say IF you want a really COOL ride that may not be reliable, and a company that won't support you (and may even LIE to you) and stand behind their product...by all means BUY AN H3!!
