My 1st 3 vehicles were VW buses! Dad presented me with an 8 yr old green and white bus on HS graduation day which was cool at the time because none of my friends had their own cars and tradition here was for graduates to head to Daytona Beach for the week after. Loaded up my bus with beer, Boones Farm and gal pals and off we went..day after I got back home I blew the engine LOL..so what does Dad do? Goes out and buys me a blue and white 5 yr old bus...blew it up in a few months too...dad then went out and bought me an orange camper bus! WTF???? WHAT Dad buys their 18 YO daughter a car with a rollin bed and kitchen??? Was this a hint? LOL All I wanted was a cute little car...so I got a job and went and bought myself a restored "baby vette" - Opal GT!
A friend just bought a new VW vert bug..she LOVES IT!
