The good news is that about 2000 years ago Jesus Christ(God the Son) paid for everyone's sins or wrong doing by dying on the cross and rising from the dead after three days.

Jesus Christ had to be both God and man because He is sinless and therefore He is the only person who can get us into Heaven when we die because He is the only One who could pay for our sins.
The Holy Bible says, "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God(The Father) raised Jesus Christ from the dead, you will be saved." {Romans 10:9}
You should not wait until later to get saved because you may die before you get another chance and you will miss Heaven.
The Holy Bible describes Heaven as a beautiful place where people live forever with no death, sorrow, sickness and pain. {Revelation 21:4}
Hell is described as a place of suffering forever for all those who are not saved. {Matthew 13:50}
If you want to be sure you will go to Heaven after this life is over just pray a meaningful prayer right now from your heart to God like the one below and you will be saved.
Dear God I want to be saved. Dear Jesus Christ Son of God I want to make you my personal Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of my sins or things I have done wrong in my life. Thanks Jesus Christ for taking my punishment for my sins by shedding your sinless blood on the cross and dying for my sins. Jesus Christ I now confess you as my Lord and believe in my heart that God(The Father) raised you from the dead. Amen.
If you just allowed God to save you then welcome to the family of God because you are now a Christian on your way to Heaven.
You can learn more about Jesus Christ if you read the Holy Bible and a good place to start reading is the book of John.

Please show this message to your friends and family so they can have a chance to be saved.

I'd simply suggest that if someone does not like a threads topic, you simply don't bother to click on it. It works for me all the time with threads about chrome and 18"+ wheels, and any other bling. I don't bother to click on them, and more importantly, feel no need to go into them and express my own opinions about how laim they are.

But all of the posting from everyone who doesn't like the topic, just gets Ron's message about God up to the top for that much longer.  So, by all means continue to post.

It's a free country Fireman .. and though you may not feel a need .. that doesn't mean others feel the same way .. This has been a pretty unbiast debate so far and believe it or not .. I guess with the exception of the Iraq comment which was pretty unnecessary ... at least based on the number of responses .... some people appears to enjoy a bit of a intelectual exercise every once in a while ... Live and let live bro ... heed your own advice and simply don't click or comment when you have an issue yourself ... it just seems appropriate since that's what we are suggested to do.

 More of suggestion, as I stated. Like you said, live and let live. He has just as much right to post anything (within reason of course) in an off topic forum. I'm just talking about those who feel they need to take a poke at his expence... what's the point?

But what strikes me as funny, is that of all the racier topics posted, this one, right way, draws the "should we delete it flag", from his single harmless post. WTF!? If it's boring then let it fade away.. simple as that. But to those who believe, it might spark up a disscussion. So, does this mean if theres a topic I don't believe in, that is totally harmless, I can expect some of these same people to come in and debate about deleting it? It just seems typical for the day and age.

"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

And for the record, I DONT have an issue with the topic. I DO stay out of the 18"+ wheel topics..

 I don't see where me going into them to poke fun at them would be called "a bit of a intelectual exercise". It just seems much more simple for me to leave that thread to those who have an interest in it... and let them talk about their bling until their hearts content.

But, of course, I'm wrong.

I'm thinking you meant me here..The only reasons I asked was because..1. I've seen where these topics can lead from prior experiences on other forums I've moderated and it ain't pretty...2...I knew the guy was a hit and run poster (probably the VA.Tech thing inspired him)...3...I said that this is a HUMMER forum and I know for sure that some people want to only discuss nuts and bolts of the HUMMER...4..I, above all my personal feelings and views, want to keep peace and tranquility amongst my friends here..

In conclusion:..Again, I commend everyone's restrain and maturity at keeping this a good and friendly discussion.

Personally I think this thread WAS mature with the exception of the Iraq comment which had zero business in there, again, my opinion.  I dunno about the rest of the folks who have expressed their views in this thread but I think everyone who has did so in a respectful, constructive manor without cranking down on anyones beliefs or feelings.  I for one NOT being a religious person find YOUR (as in religious folks) thoughts interesting and I enjoy your opinions and insights.  I don't necessarily agree with them but I can still respect them ... and again, opening ones self up to other peoples points of view, as misguided as they may be in your opinion, is what having an open mind is all about ... All in all, this has probably been one of the more interesting off topic threads I've seen in a while .. minus one Iraq crack that I at least think was unnecessary!

I too think that the basic jist of the replies were fine. As an admin at one off road site, and a member of several others, I've seen topics of religion "go to hell in a handbasket" really fast.

I'm not saying that's what heppened here etc. But in a live and let live mode, sometimes it's just better to pass up a topic that you have no vested interest in, and let anyone who might, have their conversation. I just don't see any point posting something along the lines of "I don't believe in this, or I don't think this belongs here".. or "I hate having to read about this here" ... LOL, hello, no one made you read it, you chose to. If it's not your cup of tea, then simply move on. That's all I'm saying.

Is it spam... yeah, probably. He'll probably never post here again, and probably doesn't drive a Hummer. But as an admin, I have to delete spammers all too often. They post 50 links to porn vids etc, .. I wish they would post something this harmless so I could pass it by, without having to delete it, and ban their IP address. I'd welcome a spammer who posts: "I like the beach, and swimming in the surf". It sure would make my job easier.

I see your points fireman, I really do!  But in all honesty here .. I think this thread turned out to be a good conversational topic where most of us, regardless of belief, came together and discussed something that 9 times out ot 10 turns in to that whole going to hell in a handbasket thing, this without it getting out of hand or heated (minus one dumb remark).  Did it give ME anything personally?   Yeah, I think I have a better understanding of some of ya'll crazy people on here I dare to call friends .. and I respect them just a little bit more!  And for someone who comes from a pretty much a predominantly atheist country like I do, NOT being prosecuted for MY beliefs while having a constructive debate on this subject is pretty interesting and dare I even say rewarding.

Lemme guess .. the one where he talks about the atheist who believes he will fertilize a tree when he dies .. then some donkey chops the tree down, chips it, makes paper out of it and then prints the bible on it!?  Yes, I've seen it, do a search on Dane Cook on YouTube, it's all over the place .. personally I can't stand Dane Cook, regardless of the atheist crack which I actually thought was pretty funny the first time I heard it...  Then again, I'm VERY picky about stand up comedy (the wife and I go see someone perform at least a couple of times/month) and he just doesn't fit my sarcastic, cynic, political satire flavor of comedy I personally prefer .. Now, you gimme some George Carlin which I've seen live a few times, or some Denis Leary ... Dave Attell which show had me hurtin' for days, Dave Chapelle, Christopher Titus (hell of a nice guy by the way), John Witherspoon .. etc etc ...

LoL, yea thats it. Guy I work with started doing stand up comedy because of George Carlin. If i remember correctly he brought in a cd of him, and 1 of the parts he started getting frustrated with an exotic breast. It was pretty loud throughout the kitchen and our manager thats a stiff found it somewhat humerous.

The guy I work with now does Wednesday Kokanee Comedy at the casino, and will be doing a tour throughout Alberta. Overally nice guy but once he tells 1 joke, he goes around telling everyone that walks by about it, maybe even twice if your lucky
