i have been BBQing  as well but that is just "slap the meat on the grill wait in the porch run out flip the meat run back in then run back out to get the meat then right back in"   but now its sit in the lawn chair have some tunes playing, drink a couple cold ones  and really get into creating some good tasting food and not freezing your butt off doing it, so this is the time to try new things on the bbq when you can properly moniter it

Bob speaks for hisself.  We ain't all dumb Canucks!  Bit it is true, we say BBQ, Yanls typically say grilling.  Either way, we've been cooking and eating on the porch in BC for 3 weeks or so.  This weekend was beatutiful!  In 2 weeks, going to look at getting the pool going too!

Hell that's what I call it.  I'm no expert because I haven't done alot, but I find the slower cooked, the better the taste.  My wife's family always asks me what my secret is because they all think, $1000 grille, high heat, cooks fast, and then wonder why it doesn't taste good.  I use $99 Wal-mart grill, well lately the Hummer grill, and the food tastes ten times better.  Don't you love it?
