I have 35" MT Claws and I average 13.5 mpg with a mix of city & highway driving. On the beach pounding the throttle it dips down to 9mpg! If I wanted gas milege I would have bought a Toyata Prius @ 40+mpg lol.

I lost about 2 to 3 mpg with the BFG's 35's and get about 14 to 15 around town when I got 17 with the 33's. I used to get almost 20 mpg highway now it is 17 mpg. The extra 1" of ground clearance makes a big difference off road which is why I bought the H3. I think with the factory 33's the clearance was 9.1 so now it is 10.1 - an almost 10% improvement is a lot. Then there is the way it looks - about a 40% improvement.

WOLFGANGSTA HERE! CHIMING IN PER REQUEST! I lost about 1 or 2 mpg from my calculations. Not all that much difference at all. But the truck looks 100% better. I haven't done much highway only driving lately to report on what difference that may be. But, around town driving (as usual for me) it's pretty darn close to the same. Keep in mind I had the bigger Adventure Package tires before the swap too. So, don't let 35's scare you into not doing it. It's not that big of a difference to really consider when making choices about how you want your H3 to look. Post up some pics for everyone once you get those bad boys bolted up!
