i know this thread is pretty old, but i promised clarence i'd give a shout out to him. via phone, i bought a set of roof racks ($205! thanks pcmommy) and a hard/soft tire cover from him for my dad for father's day as well as a hard/soft tire cover and a locking gas cap door/cover as an early b-day present for me. had a little hiccup in shipping one of tire covers as the supplier (not g-styles) apparently can't count...must be an aggie  . but, got everything here w/in a week. anyways, clarence and the crew at g-styles are great! they're really helpful and friendly...especially if you spend almost $700 . jk! but, i was very impressed w/ them and will be doing business w/ again soon for a set of chrome roof racks for me.

Put a set of the chrome on my Black H3 bought from dealer..Now I really feel ripped off $433.00 was their price at all the dealers I called. Maybe I should feel better by saying "Support Your Dealership"

Sucks to OVERSPEND!!! I did it too at the STEALERSHIP when I first got my Rig!!!
Told them....I WANT THIS....Install That!!! After the fact I saw I could have saved OVER 60% buying online!!!
Now I BUY and BRING my accessories to the dealer to get installed!!

i agree. they definitely add some flare. i cant wait to see what they look like on my dad's h3. i'm sure i'll fall in love quickly and order the chrome shortly thereafter. sorry for those of you that bought'em at the dealership. i absolutely was not trying to rub it in anyone's face. just promised a shot out to clarence, wanted to thank pcmommy for sharing, and, now, thank dennis for creating the forum...apparently, they saved me $200

ahh! thanks for clarifying. well then, thanks to patrick. you keep this thing running, so take some credit too not trying to kiss arse, but i like to pay my respects when they're due. you guys are the #1 and ONLY forum in my browser...dont have time for any others
anyways, to stick w/ the thread topic. i like roof racks. ha!

not trying to steer anyone away from g-styles. had a great experience w/ them. however, im just wondering if anyone knows if these roof racks are legit:

just wanted to send out an update regarding the roof racks i found on ebay (not g-styles). i went ahead and rolled the dice. bought a pair of the brushed aluminums from this guy, todd, at partsdirectplus (name listed on ebay). contacted him directly (bypassing ebay) and paid $180.00 flat (no shipping) for OEM rails (i.e. the exact same you buy at the dealer...say HUMMER on the locks and everything...NOT aries/generic) . great quality and shipped already assembled in very protective packaging. i asked him if he normally sells hummer parts b/c it was such a good deal. he said that he doesnt, but came across these from an accessories dealer that's going/went out of business. he's got a handful left, so i figured i'd share the news w/ my hummer friends and give him a shout out for the great deal. here's the ebay link: EBAY

ps - yes, i bought a pair of roof racks for an H3 that i dont even have back yet from sevice dept 650 miles away...WTF?! ha!

Well, sounds like you got a good deal. Hope you can accept a compliment from an AGGIE. I just ordered mine from Clarence for a little over $200.....maybe this is an Aggie question, but does anyone know what all comes with the rack from G-Style. It said roof rack cross rail bars, but this add specifically states specifically that it is a package with the following .....
Hummer H3 Roof mounted cross rail package.
Package contains 2 rails, 4 end caps and 4 keys

as long as we keep beating you guys, i am more than accepting of your compliments . hey, at least you're not a pooner...right dennis? jk! ha!
i actually bought a set of racks from clarence for my dad's H3 before i found these on ebay. got about the same price as you. g-styles are great quality, just not OEM. i was planning on buying a set for me, but stumbled across these and saved $30. plus, these are already assembled, which saves me a well needed 15 mins.
anyways, to answer your question, the package will include everything you need to install them (bolts, nuts, washers, etc). not sure if that's your concern, but he won't send you anything half-arsed. and if he does, just call him and tell him what you're missing. they'll overnight you a replacement.
