I bought the Ice clay also to do my Wife's PT but it won't stop snowing long enough to give it a try.  I want to get it detailed so we can get the for sale signs up.

The stuff works awesome! I did my H3 about 2 weeks ago because I thought we are all done with the snow. Was I wrong. My truck satyed nice for a week, but now it is a mess again from this last storm we had here in Ohi...which it is still snowing and it supposed to snow all next week yet. So I imagine after  have it washed I may have to use the Ice clay bar on it again. But it's ok. No biggie to me. I just wish it would stop snowing already lol

I found it's best to use while washing the car. Works great and  cuts the time in half.

I washed the stang, a section at a time. Then used the Ice Clay. Then rinse and wash off.

Yes it did. No dirt left on the paint.

It did take everything off, even some water marks that have been there since new.  Once you hit it with the polish, the finish really pops.

I tried different waxes on a couple areas after the clay, and the NXT looked the best on black.

I've got a package of ICE Paste ready to go on as soon as we get some decent weather. Found it at Walmart.

NXT did make the most deepest, wetest shine I have ever seen without any swirls too..But, what I don't like about it is, that anytime you touch the finish after it's on..you leave a smudge...Seems like it never sets up..I can't see it as much on the HUMMER because of the lighter finish, but ON the Jag with that dark British racing green, it shows like a black finish...But it is beautiful..Know what I mean?

What exactly does clay do, and how do you use it?  Is it just a big bar of hard clay you rub on scratches or scuffs to get them out?

i have never used one before old or new
so ya just  rub it over the paint?
when ya say  "like washing the car"  do u dip the bar into a bucket of soap and water?
