I'm getting 12.4 mpg, mostly city driving on Chevron's 91 premium.

My average is 16.4 over 5700 miles. I don't track hwy vs city separately, just by tankful. My highest was 17.3 mpg, my lowest was 14.3 mpg. -Alan

Try using 87 octane for a while..91 octane is not needed in the H3, and in fact you're wasting your money, because the engine is tuned for 87..So this may improve your mileage. I tried the 87 for two fill ups but it's worst - 10.8 mpg. I think 87 burned faster than the 91....well that's my theory. And I got 35's on, marker lights, SMA heavy duty brushguard with fog lights and rockers.

Dennis thx. I have gotten 10.6 11.9 14.3 12.8 12.3 in order of use. Interestingly I drove aggressively during the 14.3. It is a mix of 70city/30hwy. I have the pizza cutter 265's and just bumped up to 39psi to see if that makes a diff from 32psi on the tires. Dennis do you know of anyone that can fab a custom front bumper? I would like the wings cut of the plastic bumper and sides filled in and then cast in steel to get more of a H1 front look.

I just don't wanna hear them giving me some BS answers.

ORIGINAL: Dennis I understand that..you want to be armed.. Just tell them your mileage sux, and you have a feeling you are not tuned properly..My dealer said to bring it in and they'll throw it on their diagnostic machine and look over all the operating settings, to make sure nothing is out of bounds...If they give you any push back..Tell them the mileage you're getting is like that of an H2..it ain't normal! thanks, I will try...

i didn't vote, 'cuz that would screw up the curve. one thing to note though, bigger tires on a stock computer are going to throw off both the odometer and speedometer, thereby hosing the mileage on the computer. the H3 doesn't have a programmer available yet to update for the larger tires, and GM can't/won't do it for you. i noticed a drop from 11.5 to 8 when i went from the stock 35" to 37" tires, but once i reprogrammed the computer, i'm back to 11.5 again. your wheel travels further with each revolution now, so when you've gone a mile, your computer thinks you've gone less than a mile. but, you've used the same amount of gas as a mile travelled on your old, smaller tires. the only way to compare mileage from stock tires to larger tires would be to drive between 2 set points on a tank of gas, fill your tank, drive it again, refill and see if the amount is the same. or, you could harass the programmer manufacturers into getting off their lazy a$$es and making a programmer for the H3. my mileage should be getting better though, i took out my 20lb air filter today. the filter weighs about a pound, the dirt and gravel that was in it was an additional 19. i don't know if the H3 offers an "instant mileage" display or not, but once you see 2 MPG, you stop looking at it . . . .
