Anyone have any tips on removing the door panels on a H2? I don't want to start ripping and break something.

everything is clipped in, except the door handle surround. remove the screw under the door handle, and pull out the surround. there's another screw behind that as well. the window and lock plate control unit pops out with a little prying, i'd recommend putting duct tape on whatever you use to pry it out with, no scratches that way. disconnect the wiring and set the control aside. then use the same pry tool to get under the door trim, i'd recommend starting at the bottom rear of the door, where it's curved. gently pry it out, and pull the panel straight from the door. there are wires connecting the light, and possibly the seat controls, but i'm not sure about the seat control (that's just on the driver's door). there is a water barrier underneath the interior trim, held to the door with double sided tape. i'd recommend some 3m VHB tape if you can find it, it's got the best adhesion of any that i've found. you'll need to remove and reapply this if you're doing anything with the handles or window glass. it's not difficult, you just want to use care.
