Thanks Dennis I've actually seen the pic & story before, but had forgotten it. My first "grab" was a dog, in one of the first few house fires I went to. Unfortunatly, it didn't have the same result, despite our makeshift human-dog CPR efforts. Me and nother guy worked on it for a good while, but it became obvious it wasn't going to help. Since then I've pulled people and animals out of fires, .. some happy endings, some not so happy .. but I continue to push myself 100% to give them a fighting chance. That story is pretty awsome though! I like that it shows that animals (dogs) have more going on iside thier brains, than just responding to a pat on the head and a bowl full of food.
