Even if there is another fix I'd highly recommend Dennis' approach ... I heard that one can even save lives!!!!!

i am not your typical hoosier, i am 787 lbs. all muscle upper body.  the seat belt restricts my breathing, because its made for you not hoosier hummer dudes. since i cannot breathe because of the seatbelt, i tend to blackout from lack of oxygen. that is the only reason i only want to know how to disconnect the seatbelt chime.

HAHA sorry, i left the screen up and signed in and my father-in-law came over and typed in that...he always likes to play a joke. he is the one who actually owns the H2 SUT. any how, we do wear our seatbelts, but other times we dont.  so if anyone knows the secret fill us in please.

Some say they can jam a popsicle stick in the buckle and it opens a switch...

And tell your fat ass hoosier father-in-law to go on a diet before he breaks the torsion bars...

never wore them when i was growing up, i don't think anyone did.  but it was the law in Britain when i was stationed there, so i got into the habit and don't feel right anymore not wearing one.

of course, i'm not pushing 750 lbs either . . . .

if your "large" call the dealer with your vin and order a seat belt extention.  legally they cant charge and you can usually get a 9inch or a 15 inch. plugs right into the buckle and "extends the belt and or shuts the ding off

Wearing it is the best choice, but you can buckle the seatbelt behind your back or you could just buy a seatbelt the buckle only and have it plugged in
