They didn't modify anything.  The speedometer is off by 4. something at 60mph.  So no biggy to me.  As far as the offroading... I will let you know not this weekend, but next weekend we have a Hummer event scheduled in the Ocala National Forest.  I did take it over a few speed tables to test out the feel ... it feels solid and the only rubbing I've had so far is at full lock while turning.  Though I haven't adjusted my T-Bars yet.  I might do this before the event still thinking about it.

looks nice, but you do realize that the adventure and the base is the same exact suspension except for different shocks.

And no there are no modifications needed to fit 35's, a few cranks on the t-bars will help them clear the control arms but is not needed. There may be a slight rub at full lock if using stock rims but nothing major and aftermarket rims with more + offset will not rub at all.

Yea but the gear ratios in low lock feel way different to me...  Now I don't know what the numbers mean... I just know the feeling is a light and dark difference to me.

Regular
2.64:1 ratio
Adventure
4.03:1 ratio

That's the big difference right there besides the locking rear differential...the Borg Warner transfer case.

4:1 means, that for every 4 turns from the output of the transmission to the input of the transfer case, the output of the transfer case turns 1 times...Thereby, getting the engine to rev higher while turning the wheels slower, so as to get all the mechanical torque from the engine easier to the wheels.

Does anybody know if it is even possible to have the H3 modified by the dealer to adjust the speedometer for bigger tires?

I don't think you "adjust the speedometer", you have to get a PROGRAMMER to abjust the settings in the computer!

That's what I had heard also, just wondered if anybody knew if it was possible. Doesn't sound like there is much difference in going to 35's if it is only off 4 mph at 60.

PCMforless can do that for you, plus a whole lot more for overall performance.

I almost forgot about the PCM upgrade I'll have to check that out after I modify the exhaust.  I'm going to try to get rid of the first cat tonight by the manifold.  I'll let you know how that goes.  Thank you for the lesson on the ratios.  It's much appreciated.

As far as the events they seem to have them pretty often over here.  No big rock mountians to climb, but... lots of mud and sand lol... They had one Sep, Dec, and now this Apr.  They are tons of fun.  If you need some directions you are more than welcome to ask and I'll let you know where it's going to be at.  I'm waiting for the sales manager Shaun from Hummer of Orlando to get back with me on the times and where we are meeting at.  They are some pretty nice guys that like having fun just we do so it makes it that much better.  Let me know.
