Wow, it's a reality... doubt they'll offer it with a manual transmission though.

Not a locking front diff, but it's cast iron and is interchangable between all current H3 models..   I'd guess heavier T-bars to support that V8 as well...

Wow, that engine compartment looks FULL!!!

I wonder if the 08 model will still have the I-5 3.7L as standard and this big V8 as an option?

Seems like they would have a lot of changes so I'm thinking maybe the I-5 is going away??

What do you guys think?

The I5 should have went away before the 06 H3's hit the street...I have a feeling at the time, GM was in a hurry to put this H3 platform on the streets and didn't have a suitable engine yet..sooooo, this is what we got..

I believe I will wait till mid year after the V8's have had the bugs worked out, before I jump on this one...But a V8 H3 is in my future for sure.

Great, JUST Great! Not only do I have to go change my panties now, but I won't have any money to buy this one! BLAH.  Thank God for the PCM Upgrade and Premium Fuel

On that note, after going off-roading this weekend, I have decided we are not buying anything other then Hummer vehicles from now on.  I'm going to buy a beater to drive to the train and back everyday, stop driving these rediculous miles to work and back, and save up to buy a next-gen H2 or H3.  Forget the Camaro, I have seen the light!

My dream is to own both the Hummer and one of the new Camaro' when they come out.  I'll really be in car heaven then.

There's one of my guys out in the shop tht just bought a new used truck...   It's a early 90's Silverado..  Not a single body panel that has the same color paint except the primered spots...   He handed the guy he bought it from $50..  The guy handed him the keys and $5 change..

Buy a Prius.  The money you save on gas can be used to buy a new Hummer!

I'll give them 39 months to get the bugs out - unless my wife won't give back my H3 - then I may have to upgrade!
