H3 Alpha 5.8L V-8
Cast iron front diff (that can be bolted into all previous years according to the video)
Very sweet.....
Brian, was this what you went off roading in a week or so ago?

I'm with you on this one Bob, I don't like it one bit. The SW like you said .. yuck, the square vents/dash .. that's just gawd awful in my opinion ... I think that was a major step in the wrong direction .. think it took away from the RUGGED good looks I personally care for ..

Bob, I would guess they want to get some mileage out of the new changes first...Then do an Alpha.....
Well...this explains the "long in the tooth" display they had at the Dallas Auto Show.
They were saving the big guns for the NY Auto Show.
Holy Crap.....The site says H3 Alpha "5.3L V-8 @ 295 hp 317 lb-ft of torque" ! !
Now for the big question.............$ $ $

Coming from an H3'er perspective, I like the new interior...But you both are right in saying it doesnt have that ruggedized look.
Nice that they kept the shifter though......Shame they didnt feel the same about the "dash titties" AC vents....

Dash titties?! LOL!!!!!!!!! That's funny sh!t .. uh huh, I think the shifter is the only thing in the new H2 interior that hasn't been stripped of it's male bits LOL!

I was very impressed with the H3's yesterday .. under powered or not it's still a hell of a vehicle!
