I had the chrome nerf bars and these seem to protect the rear quarter panels/rear door area much better, as well as less slippery and hazardous to actually use. I am still keeping my eyes open for larger mudflaps to protect the paint job than the GM/H-3 ones that I have now. Thanks for the tip on these Dennis.
