I say get it. But skip the antenna-x one. The mount they supply to make it a universal fit is simply a plastic tube. As such, any sideways pressure on the antenna (ie branch, carwash, little kids) can cause it to "break". The antenna itself is OK, and the company is good to deal with, but after purchasing one myself, I would highly recommend another brand. Another problem it has, is that if you have added an aftermarket antenna mount cover, the plastic base it too big to fit in the hole and has to be "modified" One like Dennis has, is clearly superior, and is about the same price. It has a great mount and comes in different "colors". This site has good prices and options for ones like Dennis has http://www.performanceproducts4trucks.com/Productpage.aspx?pid=109926&name=Stubbie%20Replacement%20Antenna&part=

Or... you could do it for free with a wire cutter or hacksaw...
